Hi World! My name is Kate Schwartz, and welcome to my domestikated life!

For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be an adult. I didn’t want to just sit at the adult table, I wanted to host the party. I didn’t want to “play” dress up, I wanted to dress to the nines every single day. But let’s face it, being an adult isn’t as glamorous as it seems. Growing up means responsibilities… lots of them! However, just a few months ago I opened my eyes and realized that life is too short to take yourself so seriously. Now at 24 years old, I’m trying to master the imperfect balance between being a spontaneous “kid” and a responsible adult.

How do I do that? The secret:

“Don’t ever really grow up… Only learn how to act in public.”
